Correction and Retraction

Papers that appear in the ETHICA: International Journal of Humanities and Social Science Studies may be subject to retraction from publication under the following circumstances:

  1. If there is compelling evidence that the results presented are unreliable due to either misconduct (such as data fabrication) or an unintentional mistake (such as calculation error or experimental oversight).

  2. If the findings have been previously published elsewhere without proper cross-referencing, permission, or reasonable justification, resulting in cases of redundant publication.

  3. If the paper is found to contain instances of plagiarism.

  4. If the content of the paper reports on research that is deemed unethical.

The process of retraction adheres to the Retraction Guidelines set forth by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which can be accessed at https://publicationethics.org/retraction-guidelines.
